This is about to be a mushy one guys so grab a tissue. Our beautiful bride Samantha and I met during a photoshoot for our mutual friends’ fashion boutique. We hit it off instantly and an amazing friendship kicked off that very day! We planned playdates to appease our girl crushes, and when I met Luke for the first time he was exactly the man I envisioned for Samantha.

This love story makes me want to put on my 'Pink Ladies' jacket and drink a milkshake at the diner. Christina and Nick's story began in high school english class (throwback photos below). They flirted their way through each lesson, passing notes and getting to know each other until nervously deciding to go to homecoming together. They fell in love that summer night as they danced in each other's arms, and have held onto each other ever since.

Anna and Kevin's story begins when Anna relocated to Boston for a new internship, and Kevin was Anna's internship coach. The two playfully flirted with each other at work, and made excuses to hang out with their mutual friends as much as possible. One night in particular they went for Chinese food and found themselves lost in conversation until the sunrise started peeking over the horizon!

Even with years of experience, it still hits me right in the nervous system when a friend asks to play engagement photoshoot. The pressure! I always preface with something like, 'So we're super into bright and floral and happy, right?' Luckily the answer's always yes because I have an incredible group of friends supporting me from all angles, and Heather and James were no exception.

So this wedding story actually begins during another wedding story! Shannon + Jason met when they were paired up in the bridal party of their friend Carrie's wedding! What a perfect way to meet your true love amiright!? After 5 years of the blissful dating life, the couple traveled to France together to escape the daily grind.

Engagement season is always a lot of fun for me. It's a time to build friendships with couples, and have fun with photography! Samantha, Patrick, and I hoped for a sunny and warm day when we planned our engagement photoshoot at Gallup Park in Ann Arbor.  Did we ever get it!

There's always a little something in the air for me when the bride and groom are personal friends. Sweet Davina and I were brought together by the city of Detroit a few years back. We met hanging with friends over cocktails and dance floors.

When Jourdan and I first started planning her engagement photos, I had recently moved to Detroit... and what better way to break in a new area than a photoshoot! She and I compiled our favorite hotspots in Detroit. 

When Brianna and I first connected about her wedding, it was a total girl crush in 5 minutes. She described her day to me as an intimate, spring wedding with only their closest family and friends. Swoon.

This story began when our beautiful bride, Jessica, decided to volunteer. She packed her bags and set off for a five month mission trip to Japan. Unbeknown to her, our leading lady would be coming home from Japan with a little more than volunteer experience.
