Samantha + Lucas | A Beachside Wedding in Traverse City

This is about to be a mushy one guys so grab a tissue. Our beautiful bride Samantha and I met during a photoshoot for our mutual friends’ fashion boutique. We hit it off instantly and an amazing friendship kicked off that very day! We planned playdates to appease our girl crushes, and when I met Luke for the first time he was exactly the man I envisioned for Samantha. These two are 100% meant for each other. Two loving souls that just make you smile!

They met at Baker college when Luke started working for Samantha's sister, Alicia. Our leading sister played a spectacular cupid and successfully brought our love birds together. They dated blissfully for many years until a very special weekend up in Traverse City at the Chateau Chantal winery. Luke took a knee on the balcony overlooking the water and asked Samantha to marry him while the whole family squealed with excitement in the background.

Come wedding weekend I was bursting at the seams. I hit the road for Traverse city on Friday to catch the rehearsal dinner that Sam + Luke so generously invited us. After dinner we could barely sleep from excitement! We woke up on the wedding day to a beautiful blue sky and the sun shining warmly through our hotel window. I joined Sam and the girls in the suite and we played dress up while joyfully sipping champagne. Soon we all made our way down to the ceremony site in a wooded area on the beach of Grand Traverse Bay. When Samantha walked down that aisle my heart stopped. The way Luke looked at his beautiful bride for the first time will never leave my mind. As the ceremony began hugs were given, tears were shed, and Samantha + Lucas vowed to honor each other for the rest of their lives. The reception kicked off soon after and we danced and laughed through the sunset and into the night celebrating the incredible love that Samantha + Lucas share.

Sam + Luke... oh my gosh were do I even begin! Sam girl I'm so lucky to call you a friend. I've had so much fun hanging with you these past few years. I just adore you and your family, and I hope we continue to play for many years to come. Luke, you and your family are so full of happiness I can barely stand it. Your Dad said something I still talk about today. He came over while giving us a huge hug said, "This is the good stuff!" And he's absolutely right! The love you two have for each other will light up any room. I'm just so happy you found each other and I wish you many years of love and happiness together! Love you both so much!
