Christina + Nick | A Modern Wedding in Downtown Farmington

This love story makes me want to put on my 'Pink Ladies' jacket and drink a milkshake at the diner. Christina and Nick's story began in high school english class (throwback photos below). They flirted their way through each lesson, passing notes and getting to know each other until nervously deciding to go to homecoming together. They fell in love that summer night as they danced in each other's arms, and have held onto each other ever since.

Christina and Nick are big on the outdoors. Often planning weekends full of nature, fresh air, and each other's company. In 2017 they traveled to Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore for a majestic hike through the woods of Northern Michigan and a kayaking along the beach of Lake Superior. The evening of their adventure they found themselves enjoying the sunset on the beach, where Nicholas took a knee and asked his beloved to be his forever.

Their wedding day was as nostalgic as their love story. A calm and cloudy summer day, with lush green trees all around and soft light beaming through the clouds. The bridesmaids in dusty blue, and the groomsman looking sharp in black suits and bowties, all tied together with succulent and eucalyptus inspired floral. Christina and Nick put a lot of thought into taking care of their favorite people, and it absolutely showed.

Christina + Nick... thank you both so very much for a wonderful wedding day experience! Kyle and I are so grateful to have been part of the celebration.
