Jane + Sean | A Historic Wedding At The Ypsilanti Freighthouse

This love story began with an adorable kitty named Gizmo. Sweet, fluffy Gizmo lured Jane into Sean’s arms one sunny day at Eastern Michigan University. The two joined in a friendly game of cat and mouse (pun definitely intended), and fell marvelously in love with each other. Sean is a gentle, loving soul and compliments Jane’s bright and beautiful energy perfectly.

Their wedding day was as gentle as their love story. Cloudy skies on a cool, late summer day in September. After a relaxing morning of prep, the bridal party and friends made their way to the Yspilanti Freighthouse for the ceremony. Jane and Sean had a tasteful beer unity ritual, inspired by their success as a couple in the brewing industry. There was not a dry eye in the crowd as Jane + Sean vowed to love each other as husband and wife. A musical exit guided us right into a cheerful reception decorated with wildflowers, cozy lighting, and plenty of love to go around.

Jane + Sean… thank you so much for inviting me to photograph your wedding. I felt so warmly welcomed into the family all day. The love absolutely shows and I’m thrilled with the beautiful photos we’ve created. It was an honor help tell the heartfelt story of your wedding day. Thank you for all the warm memories!
