Davina + Sater | An Edgy Wedding At The Eastern Detroit

There's always a little something in the air for me when the bride and groom are personal friends. Sweet Davina and I were brought together by the city of Detroit a few years back. We met hanging with friends over cocktails and dance floors. I was new to the area and basically worshipped Davina and how welcoming she was to me. When she reached out to me about her wedding photography I thought, what a wonderful way to pay forward the love she once gave me!

When Davina met Sater, I remember how excited she was. Her little eyes were so bright and happy! I'm so glad they married each other. They really are perfect together! These two planned an elegant, Detroit reception at The Eastern of Eastern Market. It was a royal event indeed with a strolling dinner featuring Detroit's favorite food trucks, chocolate favors for the guests from Bon Bon Bon, a late night ice cream truck, a hookah lounge, arcade games... the works! It was the perfect evening of love and celebration!

Davina + Sater... thank you both for inviting me to photograph your wedding. It was so nice to spend some quality time with the two of you on such a special day! You both looked absolutely radiant, dinner was spectacular, and it was wonderful to see so many friends. I really love the photos we took and I hope you guys will too!
