Claire + Jonathan | A Detroit City Chic Wedding Day At The Westin

Believe it or not this love story begins before our bride and groom could even walk! Claire + Jon were both about one year old when their mom’s crossed paths in the diaper aisle, and struck up a conversation about how they both recently had twins. They became fast friends and ended up joining a twin mom group together, where the friendship only grew stronger.

As their twins grew older, Claire’s mom and Jon’s mom continued to be very close friends, facilitating play dates between the babies, and often joked about them falling in love one day!

As time cruised on babies became kids, kids became high schoolers, and high schoolers became college graduates, and Clair and Jon found themselves on separate paths.

It wasn’t until many years later when Claire + Jon were adults, single, and the timing just seemed right, Claire made a brave move and gave Jon’s mom her number to pass along to Jon - and the rest was history!

Fast forward to Claire + Jon’s magnificent, city sleek wedding day in Detroit. It was a warm summer day in late June. The bridal party looked straight out of a NYC magazine in all black. The perfect accompaniment to Claire’s breathtaking cathedral length gown and veil. The only thing more romantic was the way Jon’s heart burst open when he saw her walking down the aisle soon to be his wife.

Claire + Jon… thank you for having me be a part of this spectacular day. Both you and your families were so warm and welcoming to me. I felt right at home, and I hope my love and appreciation is reflected in your images. It was truly unforgetable!
