Malena + A.J. | An Iconic Engagement Session In Downtown Detroit

Iconic Detroit has never looked so good as it did during Malena and A.J.’s glamorous engagement session! When Malena and I hopped on a call and she started describing her city chic vision for her engagement session - I was tapping my feet with joy on the other end. She mentioned she loves to sip an espresso martini with her man on date nights, so what better way to start their story then to do exactly that!

The second they walked in I could instantly feel the love and adoration they felt for each other. A.J.’s eyes were warm and loving when he talked about Malena. Malena’s smile was lighting up the room when she shared more about how they fell in love. She confessed that they fought it for a bit because A.J. was her dentist and if it went south she didn’t want to be out a great dentist! Luckily their natural connection was undeniable, and now they’re well on their way to becoming husband and wife!

After we finished our drinks at the Apparatus Room, we popped over to the ever sophisticated Detroit Institute of Arts, and had out grand finale at the James Scott Memorial Fountain on Belle Isle. This was a particularly special moment as Malena’s grandparents also had wedding photos taken in front of that very fountain.
