Erica + Nick | A Colorful And Joyful Engagement Session At Stony Creek Metropark

When Erica + Nick told me they spent one of their very early dates together at Stony Creek, I knew it was the perfect landscape for their engagement session. I love being able to weave personal details into the visual story of your engagement portraits. You see, the purpose of your engagement session is more than snapping a quick photo for your save the dates… it’s an opportunity to illustrate a great and meaningful love story with portraits that invoke joy, happiness, play, and devotion. Even more, it’s a way for your story to take on a life of it’s own to enjoy now and for years to come!

We were blessed with the most beautiful Michigan summer day for their session. A sunny and radiant evening, which I feel reflects Erica + Nick as a couple perfectly. We smiled and shared belly laughs exploring the gardens while skipping around like they once did during their “puppy love” phase together. We later went longboarding down the winding metropark roads, an activity they enjoy doing as a couple. Their joy and adoration for each other will simply light up your day. Scroll down to see what I mean.

Erica + Nick… you two are an absolute treasure! Every moment I spent with you both warmed my heart. I hope these photos fill you with bliss and delight throughout all the years of your relationship!
