Murphy Family | A Sunny Morning Family Session In Dearborn

It was a magnificent sunny morning when I drove over to the Murphy’s home for a morning session! They wanted to celebrate their little man, Robert, turning one in their own space where they had shared so many memories during his first year! We figured morning was best, as that’s when Robert was the most cheerful!

We began our session with the smell of coffee filling the room, and the warmth of the morning sun on our skin! It was delightful! As a photographer, I find these types of sessions particularly heartfelt, as this is one of many milestones the Murphy family and I have shared together. First their enchanting spring engagement, then their breathtaking wedding day at the Detroit Opera House, their maternity session in the gardens of Belle Isle Park, and now this lovely session in their home with their first born son. If it had to describe why being a photogarpher is so special to me - I would sum it up with beautiful journey with the Murphy family.
