Chelsea + Nico | A Puppy Friendly Engagement At Eastern Market

When I first spoke with Chelsea + Nico about their engagement photos… I could tell right away that they were puppy people! They adopted their sweet golden retriever, Riley, amidst the pandemic and she quickly became a central part of their little family! So we knew she was going to be a big star during their engagement shoot.

We originally planned to have the shoot in Ann Arbor at the Arb, but day of we had an impromptu idea to head to Eastern Market instead and man am I glad we did! Chelsea + Nico came armed with their parents to be on puppy petrol so we could get a good combination of photos with Riley, and the two of them alone as well.

These guys were total naturals! The camera loved them and their little dog too. ;) We had so much fun exploring the murals of Eastern Market, and even had time for a quick drink before we bounced over to Belle Isle for sunset!
