I was so grateful to connect with Sarah + Joe through our mutual friend, Jenna! When we met for our wedding consult, Sarah came through the coffee shop doors with firey red hair and a smile for miles! Joe followed with a cheerful grin and gave me the warmest hug. I immediately thought, these two have awesome vibes.

We got to talking about their day and I could feel the love as they told me about their destination, barn wedding in the rolling hills of Northern Michigan. Naturally, I was hanging on every word imagining their Pure Michigan, summer wedding with fields of wildflowers, twinkly lights and craft cocktails for all! Destination weddings are truly something special - an intimate celebration in paradise with your most beloved.

I was looking forward to Sarah + Joe's day for months when finally the day came to hit the open road! I arrived at their beautiful venue, Jordan Valley Barn, a day early to meet the fam and get settled for the weekend. Sarah + Joe were so sweet to invite me to the rehearsal dinner. It started to rain that afternoon , and my first experience with Sarah + Joe's family was sharing a bunch of laughs under umbrellas for the rehearsal! Haha! Later that evening we cozied up to a warm, home cooked meal and I remember thinking - I'm so lucky to have beautiful people like Sarah + Joe as clients.

THEN WEDDING DAY WAS UPON US! The sun was shining, birds were singing, and hair and makeup were flowing! I loved this venue because next to the barn was a quaint, country home where the couple and their families could get ready. I found Sarah that morning in this adorable bedroom suite with her girls. Meanwhile, Joe and the guys had some fun suiting up in the barn next door. Both Sarah + Joe had this calm, playful aura about them that day. I was so happy to see them relaxed and soaking in their day. The day continued smooth as silk, full of laughs, love, and pink boas!

Sarah + Joe, thank you is hardly a strong enough phrase to express how grateful I feel to have been part of your wedding. It was a spectacular day, and both you and your families made me feel so loved and appreciated. I hope your wedding gallery is any reflection of how special you both are to me!
