Megan + Eric | A Beachtown Engagement Session In Port Huron

Megan was envisioning a dreamy summer sunset at the beach for her engagement photos… so we ran with it!

We began our session at their beautiful new home in Port Huron, where Megan and Eric have been busy in the garden and tending to the property with their lovely pup, Ellie. It was such a wholesome scene when I pulled up. Colorful flowers lining the front porch, mature trees surrounding the house from all sides, and a yellow dog running around the yard. Megan greeted me with fresh curls, dressed in a stunning vintage dress that belonged to her mother. Eric not far behind in a handsome business casual summer look with warmth in his eyes.

The skies were misting just a touch, a welcome relief during the hot summer season here in Michigan. The overcast sky drenched us in soft, dreamy light to begin our session. Ellie the pup excitedly followed us around the yard, perfectly behaved I might add, and away we went. After a nice tour of the property, we made our way to a local beach with a very nostalgic lighthouse, played in the sand, and even dipped our toes in the water!
