Alyssa + Kevin | A Wedding With Historic Charm At Pine Knob Carriage House

This love story goes all the way back to middle school! Alyssa and Kevin faintly knew each other in that awkward, brace face, 6th grade stage at Discovery middle school. They remained acquaintances all throughout high school, passing each other in the halls, clueless that they would one day become husband and wife.

However, it wasn’t until their college years that they more deeply connected. Alyssa attended Central Michigan University, and Kevin was at Western. Rival colleges if you can believe it! As they grew up in the same town, they continued to have overlapping friends across both colleges who gathered for tailgate, birthday parties, and other college ragers. So as fate would have it our bride and groom were never too far out of touch.

Then one faithful day on their senior year of college, when their affections for each other started to bloom, they decided to take the leap, after so many years, and make their relationship official! Long distance and all.

Fast forward through college graduation, first jobs, first apartments, and many other milestones together… to the day Alyssa was to be Kevin’s bride. Their late summer wedding was a gorgeous, September day in southern Michigan. The sun was shining, and everyone was in great spirits for such a splendid celebration.

Alyssa + Kevin… what a joy it was to be a part of your wedding day. Thank you both for having me! Your families treated me like one of their own, and that dance floor was EPIC! I hope these photos leave you swimming in all those wedding day feels for years to come!
