Kelsey + Conner | A Cozy Winter Wedding At Packard Proving Grounds

Kelsey and Conner love of all things winter, hockey games, and a cold beer with friends. In fact, these two crossed paths for first time at a Labatt Blue Pond Hockey tournament in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. Thousands of people in attendance, and fate would have it that they both squeezed up to a very crowded bar in the same moment where conversation sparked.

It’s funny because when I asked them the story of how they met, they both had a little different take on it because - beer. ;) But one thing they did agree on was their instant attraction toward each other.

Unfortunately right as things were lining up for a date, COVID hit and well, we all know what happened after that. Kelsey and Conner were not discouraged, however, and embarked on what they jokingly called “reverse dating”. They got lost in conversation for hours on what they soon dubbed “Facetime Fridays.” They went several weeks strong with their Friday chats, until they were finally able to meet up for a proper first date at Kensington Metropark. They fell lovingly into each others hearts that day, and remained by each other’s side ever since.

Their wedding day was a breathtaking tribute to the roots of their relationship. A chilly winter day, at a beautiful rustic venue, and cold beers for all their friends and family to enjoy. Each moment watching their love fill the room will melt even the coldest of winter days.
