What I love most about photography is it’s ability to freeze the ever marching entity of time. The camera itself is like a time machine. With our very own hands we can freeze precious moments in our lives to revisit again as the years pass too quickly.

That’s the beauty of lifestyle photography. Remembering the moment for how it felt, how it looked to those who love you, and how it lived in your heart before time passed right before our eyes yet again. Amanda + Ryan shared a similar sentiment with me when we began planning their maternity photoshoot. They wished to visually celebrate the months of their first pregnancy, and honor this special time in their relationship! What a better way to preserve this moment than a few beautifully crafted portraits!
