Evan + Larry | A Drizzly Autumn Wedding in Downtown Detroit

Evan + Larry’s love story begins the old fashioned way. Two individuals out on the town with friends, when suddenly stars align, time slows down, and two worlds become one.

It was a cool, Chicago night and both Evan and Larry happen to be at Durkin’s for $3 pitcher night. Some might call it destiny as their friend groups collided bringing two people together in a city neither of them were from. Evan’s gal pal was in need of a witty comeback for a cute boy. So Evan - being the excellent wing woman she is - began approaching patrons at the bar in pursuit of THE comeback. After a few mediocre answers, fate stepped in and Evan approached Larry. His answer was witty, hilarious and little did he know an answer that would change his life.

Soon after these two met, Larry was offered a job in Michigan. Things were going so beautifully with Evan that he bravely asked her to go with him - and she said yes! Thus began the next phase of their relationship as they set roots together in Michigan. Roots that grew into this very wedding day!

Their drizzy, autumn wedding was a spectacular day for a spectacular couple. The girls wore blush gowns with pops of orange in the floral. The boys looked sleek in grey. All accompanied by the modern Detroit cityscape. Mwah! The trees were vibrant with colors, and the air was crisp with fall. Loved ones were near, and a beautiful wedding day unfolded.

Evan + Larry - The friendship that has blossomed between us means the world to me. Thank you both so much for being an absolute dream to work with, and for welcoming me so warmly into your wedding day. I hope these photos are any reflection of how much fun I had, and grateful I am for you guys!
