Kim + Nick | An Intimate Backyard Ceremony In Rochester Hills

It's been absolutely wonderful to see couples persevering with their wedding planning through this horrible pandemic. So much loss and stress is now being replaced with intimacy, love, and joy.

Kim + Nick had big plans for their wedding day. An occasion they had been looking forward to for quite some time. The dress was ordered, guest lists were confirmed, venue booked... the whole nine yards. Then BAM! It all came to a screeching halt due to something none of could have ever prepared for - a worldwide pandemic.

Naturally they went into panic mode and began the ugly processing of not only rescheduling their big day but communicating it to the 200+ people on their guest list. Woof.

But you know what? Kim + Nick didn't let it get them down. Under it all they knew what was truly important - marrying their best friend. So they pushed their big celebration to a later date, and went forth with an intimate ceremony in their home to honor their original wedding date. With the love and support of their nearest and dearest, they said 'I do' at a beautiful handmade alter in their own backyard. It was marvelous! Enjoy their story below, and may Kim + Nick be a beautiful reminder to everyone that LOVE CONQUERS ALL!
