Evan + Larry | A Rainy Engagement At The Packard Proving Grounds

Here in Michigan you never know what to expect with the weather. It’s a state-wide joke honestly. So when it comes to booking a photoshoot… you just gotta be prepared for anything. ;)

It was a rainy, late summer morning on the day of Evan + Larry’s photoshoot. Tempting to reschedule but these two leaned into it with me and I am so grateful! Evan, Larry and their sweet pup Tiger are totally in love, happy to be together, and just delightful to be around. We had a splendid time cruising around Rochester visiting some of their local hangouts, and for the grand finale revisited where Larry took a knee (see last four photos). So cute!

Now a downpour kinda day is one thing but, in my creative opinion, rainy skies are the BEST skies for soft, dreamy light! Have a look!
