Erika + Kevin | A Natural Garden Wedding at Wellers Carriage House
When I first met Erika + Kevin, they definitely had a “vibe.” Joyful, down to earth, and totally jiving. We got to talking about how they met, and they told me all about their rainy, but totally groovy weekend at Tomorrowland - a music festival in Atlanta, GA. As an avid festival goer myself, my heart skipped a beat! Erika + Kevin had a few overlapping friends at their campsite that year, so they were destined to cross paths. The music played, sparks flew, and the rest is history my friends!
Now if you think that’s cute… the proposal story is even better! Erika + Kevin were vacationing in New Orleans and one colorful morning during a city party they took a stroll through a grove of weeping willows and approached a bridge. As they begin to cross the bridge, Kevin smoothly started playing Erika’s life song (Linger by the Cranberries) on his phone. He then proceeded to take a knee and asked for her hand in marriage! Ah!
As you can imagine their wedding day was as heartwarming as the rest of their story. A sunny, mid-September day perfectly perfect for an outdoor wedding. The Wellers Carriage House complimented Erika + Kevin’s natural, garden wedding vision exquisitely. The friends gathered, the families shared in joyful tears, and the celebration went down without a hitch!
Erika + Kevin… thank you from the bottom of my heart for inviting me to photograph this beautiful day. Every moment was brilliant and I hope these photos are a reflection of how warm and welcome you and your families made me feel. All my best to you both, and wishing you a long and happy marriage!
